The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service recently announced over $1.2 billion in funding distributed to support fish and wildlife conservation and outdoor access across the country.
These funds — collected through the Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration program — have supported the monitoring and management of over 800 species of wild mammals and birds, the annual stocking of over one billion fish, and the opening of over 36 million acres of state land to hunting and angling.
Every time you buy a hunting or fishing license, you are directly contributing to conservation. It’s the model that has worked for decades and continues to make a real difference for wildlife and wild places.
The Steuben Fish & Game Club is proud to be part of that tradition. Every member who heads out into the field or onto the water is doing their part for conservation.
